Our History

Albert’s House was founded by Phil Thomas, following his personal enthusiasm for design and interiors after a career devoted to delivering multi-million pound projects for household names in creative industries.

Alongside his professional career, Phil has spent the past two decades developing property and sourcing interiors. With three children and a golden retriever, Phil’s obsession for authentic design and quality couple with his thoughtful and considerate approach to produce inspiring yet practical solutions.

Albert’s House benefits hugely from this uniquely rounded experience, giving an understanding of the process and potential pitfalls, from both contractor’s and client’s perspective.

Our Approach

I spend time getting to know clients and develop a feel for your style, lifestyle, tastes and aspirations. Through open dialogue we build a picture of you, your space and exactly how you want it to be used.

Every space and every client has their own unique character. An Albert’s House project will respect and reflect that. Success comes from getting the balance right. The balance of individuality and practicality; of heritage and modernity; of comfort and style.

Once we agree on a shared vision, we approach the project with the perspective of a client – with a client’s resistance to compromise.

Using the best operators across all trades and professions, we commit to give an outstanding experience through integrity, responsive service and the highest levels of craftsmanship.
